Lest the two crooners, Crosby and Sinatra, come to blows as they vie for the amateur trophy, Bob Hope sandwiches himself between them to keep peace. Giving the lie to rumors that a good gust of wind will blow him away, Swoonatra carries his own heavy golf bag--but then Hope has to carry Frank. Bing and Frank will compete in a professional and amateur golf meet, to be held on January 29th, the proceeds of which will be used to buy recreational facilities for Marines at El Toro, CA. Hope and Crosby are sponsors of the meet.
